PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication light detection structure having little variation among products and capable of maintaining the amount of light leakage stably over a long period, and a communication light detection connector and a communication light detection cable comprising the same.;SOLUTION: Provided is a communication light detection structure 10 comprising: a communication-use optical fiber 11 for transmitting communication light; a leakage-use optical fiber 13 optically connected to a part of the communication-use optical fiber 11 via an optical connection unit 12 and having a different refractive index of the core from that of the communication-use optical fiber 11; and a light detection unit 15 for detecting, as leakage light 14, part of the communication light leaking from the optical connection unit 12. Also provided are a communication light detection connector 50 and a communication light detection cable 70 comprising the communication light detection structure 10. Preferably, the core diameters of the communication-use optical fiber 11 and the leakage-use optical fiber 13 are the same.
