PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB charger performance discrimination system, achieving the discrimination of power supply capability of a charger and Ethernet (R) communication through a USB connector without a dedicated cradle connector.SOLUTION: The USB charger performance discrimination system includes a mobile router, having an Ethernet communication function, and a cradle connected to the mobile router through a first USB connector. The cradle includes: a USB charger detector, connectable through a second USB connector to the charger for charging the mobile router, for discriminating the power supply capability of the charger; and a USB-Ethernet converter, disposed on the cradle, capable of converting a signal conforming to the USB standard into a signal conforming to the Ethernet standard, and vise versa. A connection between the USB-Ethernet converter and the first USB connector becomes valid after the discrimination of the power supply capability by the USB charger detector, so that the mobile router is capable of Ethernet communication.
