PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time for updating information on a file in a system for supporting a use of a file server.SOLUTION: A business document processing device for updating information on a file existing in a file server includes: an access log reading processing unit which is connected to an access log database for storing an access log recording at least any one of an access date and time, a folder or file which is a target object, and an access user in the file server for respective accesses and to a file attribute information database for storing attribute information on the file and which reads the access log; and an update unit for updating the attribute information on the file for respective accesses by using access information on a folder or file for accesses described in the access log.
