PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize picking of a banjo player and improve performance and expressive power by replacing a wooden material of a bridge of the banjo by a metal material and significantly improving durability and deformation resistance of the bridge.SOLUTION: A banjo bridge structure employs a metal material such as a brass plate for an upper structure 4 of a bridge for catching vibrations of strings 9, and includes a leg-part structure for transmitting string vibrations to a high-tone range, a midrange, and a low-tone range provided in a head 2, at wooden leg parts 5 as a lower structure. This configuration can prevent damage and deformation of the bridge 3 by the strings 9, uniformize the acoustic quality of the banjo, add timbre characteristics by metal vibrations, and improve ringing properties.
