PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system capable of automatically generating and updating a combination of images corresponding to actions of a person to be authenticated which are stored only by the person, as a password.;SOLUTION: A personal authentication system for performing personal authentication by a plurality of images comprises: an action history storage unit for acquiring and storing identification information on a person to be authenticated and action history of the person to be authenticated (movement history, purchase history by a credit card, browsing history of web sites, and the like); an authentication image storage unit for acquiring and storing images for authentication corresponding to the action history (a location image, a store image, a commodity image, a submission image, and the like); an authentication image generation unit for extracting a combination of a plurality images for authentication corresponding to the action history stored in the action history storage unit and displaying a plurality of false images different from the images for authentication, together with the images for authentication simultaneously on an authentication screen of a terminal of the person to be authenticated; and a personal authentication unit for accepting a selection of an image displayed on the authentication screen from the terminal of the person to be authenticated and determining whether personal authentication is possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
