PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an operation schedule of a ship and save a fuel cost for an electric propulsion ship.;SOLUTION: When operation support is provided to an electric propulsion ship, a schedule of a voyage is divided into several zones in terms of time or position. For each of the zones, propulsion resistance is predicted from weather and hydrographic information, and propulsion output corresponding to the propulsion resistance is calculated. For each of the zones, inboard electric power is predicted from weather information and an event plan. For each of the zones, the best combination of power generation efficiency of an engine is calculated. In order to create an operation plan while securing a schedule of the voyage and selecting a sea route and allocation of vessel speed which minimize total fuel consumption for each of the zones, by using a stationary value of variation method, a combination of parameters which maximize or minimize the current points is obtained by minutely adjusting each of the parameters, and a combination of operation plans of the zones is optimized, so that an operation plan of the voyage is created.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
