PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch preventing type bracket or the like for a long material in an elevator hoistway capable of eliminating a catching state without manpower even when the long material goes around behind the bracket.;SOLUTION: A catch preventing type rail bracket 11 includes a supporting surface 21 supporting a weight guide rail 9 and a catch preventing part 31 arranged on an opposite side thereof. The catch preventing part has an inclined line propelling a main cable 13 to eliminate catching by a restoring force attributed to tension of the main cable when the main cable goes around to the catch preventing part from a side of the supporting surface. The inclined line is inclined so that a component of the restoring force parallel to the inclined line may be oriented to an exit side of the catch preventing part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
