PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a portable terminal from being left behind at a charging device without making a user feel troublesome.SOLUTION: A charging pad 425 includes: a charging part 552 for performing non-contact charging; and a device detection part 553 capable of detecting the presence/absence of a portable terminal 414 within a chargeable range. An ECU 421 includes: a wireless communication part 502 capable of wirelessly communicating with a portable device 413; a communication control part 511 for controlling the wireless communication part 502; a position detection part 513 for detecting the position of the portable device 413; and a vehicle control part 514 for controlling the locking/unlocking of the door of a vehicle on the basis of a signal from the portable device 413. When the portable terminal 414 is detected within the chargeable range, and the non-existence of the portable device 413 within a predetermined range including the inside of a space is detected, the communication control part 511 controls the wireless communication part 502 to transmit a signal indicating that the portable terminal 414 is left behind at the portable device 413. This invention may be applied to a system for controlling the vehicle.
