PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately measuring a gel concentration even for a little gel.;SOLUTION: A gel concentration measuring apparatus 31 for measuring a concentration of gel held in a through-hole of a gel concentration measuring chip 11 comprises an illumination device 21, a contrast measuring pattern which is irradiated with illumination light from the illumination device 21, a measuring chip holding device 33 which holds the gel concentration measuring chip in such a manner that light passing through the contrast measuring pattern is made incident to the through-hole of the chip 11, an imaging apparatus 36 which picks up an image of the contrast measuring pattern formed by gel held in the through-hole 13 of the gel concentration measuring chip 11, and an imaging apparatus moving device 38 for moving the imaging apparatus 36 back and forth along an optical axis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
