The present invention: adds meta-information to a portion specified within a Web page; imparts predetermined attribute information to the meta-information; associates the meta-information with the URL of the Web page, and the meta-information with the attribute information, respectively; and stores thereof in a content database (201). A database search unit (208) searches the content database (201) so as to thereby extract the URL of a Web page to which meta-information having attribute information matching a desired search key has been added, whereupon, on the basis of the extracted URL, a page transition unit (211) executes transition of the Web page. As a result, even if a user has not explicitly registered with the database link information originally intended for performing a transition between Web pages, it becomes possible to perform a transition between Web pages by means other than a hyperlink.
