PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal type mixer barrel easy in cleaning the corner and a horizontal type mixer using the same.;SOLUTION: An inner flange 22a is formed by bending in an end part of a mixer barrel body 22, and a large R-shaped corner curved inner surface 24a is formed inside a bending part 24 of the inner flange 22a. A peripheral edge part of an end plate 23 is superposed on an outer surface of the inner flange 22a, a plurality of bolt insertion holes 28 are formed in the peripheral edge part, and a plurality of stud bolts 25 respectively inserted into the bolt insertion holes 28 are vertically fixed to an outer surface of the inner flange 22a.
