Capacitive sensor calibration system for measuring the transient overvoltage speed is provided. Resistor divider (204), to send to (206) of the oscilloscope first resistor voltage divider signal through the (205-1) coaxial cable. Capacitance sensor (203), to transmit (207) a second oscilloscope capacitance voltage division signal through a (205-2) coaxial cable. To coincide with the actual waveform (Very Fast Transient Over-voltage, VFTO) transient overvoltage very fast, calibration system, is used as a signal source steep high pressure pulse generator (201). In order to calibrate the (203) capacitance sensor in the state of the installation conditions of the actual almost capacitance sensor (203) and resistor divider (204) is placed on the GIS.
