PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation system capable of obtaining a polyvinyl chloride resin component withstanding practical use as recycled resources as a floor material when the polyvinyl chloride resin component and pulp component are separated from polyvinyl chloride resin-based wallpaper.SOLUTION: Polyvinyl chloride resin-based wallpaper is crushed with a crushing device equipped with a punching screen having a punching diameter of 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm, a rotary knife and a stationary knife in cooperation with the rotary knife to shear a material to be crushed to mixed power comprising the polyvinyl chloride resin component and the pulp component. Four cylindrical powder separation devices equipped with a tilted plate in which the angle of inclination is gradually increased are connected in series after the crushing device. A first powder separation device separates the polyvinyl chloride resin component and pulp component from the mixed powder, and a second and the subsequent powder separation devices repeatedly separate and remove the pulp component from the polyvinyl chloride resin component.
