PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium wire for gauze having good slipperiness and a gauze using the titanium wire, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The means for improving slipperiness of a wire surface of the invention is configured to coat the surface of the wire with one of resin, a lubricant, and resin mixed with a lubricant, for eliminating the effect of surface roughness due to an oxide film. In addition, by using the wire having improved slipperiness of the surface, the gauze with good quality is produced.
