PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoration detection method, a restoration detection device and a restoration detection program, capable of detecting restoration of a virtual machine without accessing a physical machine where the virtual machine is created.SOLUTION: From a virtual machine of a monitoring object, file size information indicating the file size of a specification file increasing with accumulation of the file size is received, and on the basis of the received file size information, restoration of the virtual machine is detected.
