PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace body-cooling system that can prevent the temperature of a bottom section from lowering too much even when resting wind for a long time.;SOLUTION: When cooling water is passed to a water passage 4 installed in a furnace body 2 of a blast furnace 1 and the furnace body 2 is cooled, the water passage 4 of the furnace body 2 is divided into: an upper water passage 5 that includes at least the part of a tuyere 3 and that is provided on an upper side from the tuyere 3; and a lower water passage 6 that does not include the part of the tuyere 3 and that is provided on a lower side from the tuyere 3. Then the supply flow rate of each cooling water of the divided upper water passage 5 and lower water passage 6 can be adjusted. When resting wind of the blast furnace 1, the supply flow rate of the cooling water of the lower water passage 6 is decreased from that of a usual operation, and the supply flow rate of the cooling water of the lower water passage 6 is controlled to become a prescribed temperature so that the cooling water exhausted from the lower water passage 6 may not boil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
