PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent intrusion of termites and moisture through a gap, which is made in a joint between a mat foundation and a continuous footing, over a long period of time.;SOLUTION: A foundation gap prevention plate holder 10 is used so that a foundation gap prevention plate 7 disposed inside a mat foundation and a continuous footing in such a manner as to cross a boundary surface between the mat foundation and the continuous footing can be held by a longitudinal reinforcement 6 crossing the boundary surface.
