PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smokeproof vertical wall to which a long smokeproof sheet can be easily constructed and which has a good appearance and also is reduced in product cost and construction cost.;SOLUTION: A smokeproof vertical wall 10 includes: a smokeproof sheet 14 perpendicularly hung down from a ceiling surface 11 and longitudinally formed along the ceiling surface 11; a plurality of upper-side transverse frames 18 and lower-side transverse frames 19 which are disposed at equal intervals along the longitudinal direction of the sheet while grasping the sheet upper edge part 16 and the sheet lower edge part 17 of the smokeproof sheet 14 from both the surfaces of the sheet, and the thickness dimension of which in a sheet-grasping direction is uniform; and sheet-exhibited notch parts 29 which are each formed between the upper side transverse frames and between the lower side transverse frames adjacent to each other at at least one surface of both sides of the sheet and have clearance width W1 at least twice the thickness dimension T1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
