PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of performing vapor-liquid determination while eliminating a variation in measured values of a plurality of temperature measuring layers, when detecting a level of liquid in a container by using a heating layer heating the container and the plurality of temperature measuring layers, and a freezing air conditioner having the detector.;SOLUTION: A liquid level detector includes at least: a heater 12 which is installed on a surface of a container 9 as a liquid level measurement object and which heats the container 9; a plurality of temperature sensors 14 which are provided on the opposite side of the heater 12 from the container 9 in a manner to contact with the container 9 directly or indirectly and which are provided at height positions different from each other; and a thermal conducting sheet 11 provided between the container 9 and the heater 12 in manner to contact with both of them. The container 9 is heated by the heater 12, and a level of liquid in the container 9 is detected on the basis of measured values of the plurality of temperature sensors 14 or index values corresponding to the measured values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
