PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a packed merchandise in which eggs are packed with which inspection can be reliably performed without depending on human work.;SOLUTION: The inspection device for a packed merchandise in which eggs are packed comprises: carrier devices 11, 12 carrying a packed merchandise 100 to be inspected, in a carrying direction; side-part imaging devices 31, 32 photographing the inspection image of the packed merchandise 100 at photographing positions set on the carrier devices 11, 12; and lighting fixtures 21, 22 which irradiate the packed merchandise 100 with irradiation light functioning as back light for the side-part imaging devices 31, 32. A packaging pack 101 has pit parts 103 which are made of transparent material and in which eggs 102 are housed. The side-part imaging devices 31, 32 capture the background region of the packed merchandise 100 as a light region, capture the image region of the silhouette of an egg shell blocking the irradiation light as a dark region, capture the image region of the pit parts 103 letting the irradiation light through, as the same light region as that in the background region, and capture the image region of leakage leaking from the egg shell and retaining in the pit parts as a dark region, in the inspection image on which the pit parts 103 are shown up.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
