PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation technique for water collection pipe for horizontal water collection well, and a water collection pipe unit such that no gap is formed between a drilling hole wall and a water collection pipe, and an operation to fill a gap with a filter material is unneeded.;SOLUTION: A water collection pipe unit 1 is used which includes: a water sampling pipe 2 which has joint parts 5, 6 at both ends and also has many water sampling holes 4 formed in a peripheral wall; a screen pipe 3 arranged in the water sampling pipe 2 and having joint parts 8, 9 at both ends; and a filter material 16 charged between the water sampling pipe 2 and the screen pipe 3. After a boring rod is made to penetrate the ground between a starting hole and an arrival hole, the water collection pipe unit 1 is connected replacing a tip bit of the boring rod, and the boring rod is extracted to draw the water collection pipe into the ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
