PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer edge specification processor and its processing program for easily discriminating plotting elements in a plotting system.;SOLUTION: An outer edge specification processor and its program in a plotting system includes: distance calculation means for, from the position coordinates of a component, calculating a distance between the start end and terminal of the component or between the start end or terminal of the component and a node therebetween; color setting means for setting the color of each of the start end and terminal of the component in accordance with the attributes of the component; a gradation setting means for, on the node face of each node reaching from the start end to terminal of the axis of the component, setting an intermediate color obtained by setting the color of either the start end or terminal of the component as an initial color and the other color as a final color, and multiplying the color by a rate of change corresponding to length from one end; and display means for receiving the color information of the initial color, the intermediate color and the final color, and for adding hue corresponding to the color information to the component for display.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
