PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-proof core that can easily carry out corrosion-proof treatment to the end surface of a bored opening and is excellent in workability, and a method and an apparatus for preventing the corrosion of the bored opening.SOLUTION: A corrosion-proof core 1 is placed into a bored opening 11 formed at the peripheral wall of a water pipe 10 to prevent the corrosion of an end surface 12 of the bored opening 11. The corrosion-proof core 1 includes a core body 2 and a wedge piece 3. The core body 2 includes a cylindrical barrel 21 facing the end surface 12 of the bored opening 11 and a slit 22 extending in an axial direction and formed at the barrel 21. The wedge piece 3 is inserted into the slit 22, and installed and fixed to the core body 2. The diameter of the core body 2 expands by inserting the wedge piece 3 into the slit 22, and the barrel 21 is pressed against the end surface 12 of the bored opening 11.
