PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a build up welding material, which is a welding material for a build up metal used in an environment where corrosion by acid tends to occur, and in which corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance of the build up metal are excellent, ductility and toughness are high, welding applicability and welding repairability are excellent, adhesion with hard chrome plating is excellent, and occurrence of cracking is prevented; and a mechanical part welded with the build up welding metal.;SOLUTION: A build up welding material includes, by mass, 0.2 to 1.0% of C, 0.2 to 0.5% of Si, 0.5 to 2.0% of Mn, 15 to 30% of Cr, 0.2 to 6.0% of Mo, 0 to 6.0% of Ni, 0 to 2.0% of V, and 0.1 to 1.5% of W, with the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
