The compositions of the invention exhibit excellent effects on blood glucose lowering, promotion of insulin secretion, reduction of proteinuria, and reduction of lenticular opacity. Thus, the pharmaceutical compositions have excellent effects on the prevention or treatment of diabetes and its complications.
