PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pulse generator capable of varying a time difference between pump light and probe light at high speed with a simple configuration.;SOLUTION: An optical pulse generator supplies pump light and probe light and includes: a light source 50; modulation means 51 for modulating the oscillation state of the light source 50; and branching means 52 for branching light from the light source 50 into pump light and probe light. The modulation means 51 is configured such that a frequency modulating the oscillation state can be variable. The modulation means 51 changes a frequency to vary a difference between time for the pump light to enter an object and time for the probe light to enter the object.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
