To provide a center guide that is simple in operation and capable of detecting with high sensitivity a position shift of an instrument inserted into a bone, and a surgical instrument for treating a fracture including the center guide. A polygonal marker, in particular a double ring with different inner diameters but the same center, is used as a marker, and a rod that passes through a substantially vertical upper surface of the center of the double ring and extends along the guide arm. By using an indicator, the above-mentioned problems were solved.
