PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium alloy member deformed into the same direction as a working direction with a heat treatment; and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: The titanium alloy member has such peculiarity as comprising, by mass, 5.5% to 7.5% Al and 3.5% to 5.0% Fe and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities and applying a solution treatment which cools at cooling speed of more than water cooling from a beta-transforming point or higher, and has the deforming characteristic into the same direction as the working direction. Further, a microstructure after applying a solution treatment, is composed of beta single phase or two phases of the beta phase and martensitic phase. Furthermore, the member is peculiarly made to be age-hardening to ≥50 Hv Vickers hardness while deforming into the same direction as the working direction by holding the temperature from 250°C to 500°C after deform-working.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
