Treatment of severe hyperlipidemia by administration of (R)-2-(4-((2-ethoxy-3-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy)propyl)thio)-2-methylphenoxy)acetic acid or a salt thereof in combination with a PCSK9 inhibitor.
