A bicycle receiver accessory, attachable to a bicycle, provides a means to receive and couple the cargo carrier to the bicycle when the cargo carrier is utilized in the capacity of a trailer. Convertible cargo carrier and cart system vertical members can hold articles such as barbeque grills for transport via a receiver hitch cargo carrier, a bicycle trailer, or a handcart.
