The present invention relates to a method for preparing a tablet comprising methylprednisolone as an active ingredient. The method includes steps to greatly improve the flow properties of a powder composition before the powder composition is processed into tablets. The invention also relates to a tablet comprising methylprednisolone as an active ingredient obtainable by said method.
