Total replacement of disc spring elements in the form of W. The present invention refers to a intervetebral implant (10) for mounting between the vertebrae above and below including first and second end plate (12,14) and a graft (26). The first end plate (12) has a first surface of the coupling with the vertebra and a first inner surface (12F).The first surface of the coupling with the vertebra is mounted on the upper vertebrae in a position of the implant. The second end plate (14) has a second surface of the coupling with the vertebra and a second inner surface (14F). The second surface of the coupling with the vertebra is mounted in the lower vertebra in implanted position.The graft (26) is mounted between the first and second inner surface (12F, 14F) in a mounting configuration. The graft includes a first mounting plate (28), a second mounting plate (30), a first spring in the form of W (32), and a second spring in the form of W (34). The first and second spring in the form of W are mounted between the first and second mounting plate.The first and second spring in the form of W have axes which are generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of insertion.
