method of predicting whether a patient will be responsive to psoriasis treatment, to monitor patient response to psoriasis treatment, and to monitor patient acceptance by a psoriasis drug treatment protocol. Biomarkers are provided herein to predict or monitor the effectiveness of a psoriasis treatment. The use of certain cellular marker and mrna levels is also provided as biomarkers to predict whether a treatment for psoriasis is likely to be successful. In addition, expression of these cellular genes or markers may be used to monitor progress in treatment efficacy and patient acceptance in psoriasis patients receiving treatment.
