Acetal esters produced from purified glycerin for use and applications such as emollients, lubricants, plasticizers, solvents, coalescents, humectants, polymerization monomers, biofuel additives. refers to a novel group of acetal monoesters and diasterases having in their structure the ester function and cyclic beings which give these products excellent properties such as solvency, polymeric plasticity, solubility in polar and support media, spreadability, wettability, low volatility, non-toxicity and biodegradability. These properties make these products excellent candidates as solvents in pesticide formulations, agricultural herbicides, for the paint industry, leather, domestic or industrial hygiene formulations; as plasticizers for polymers such as polyvinyl chloride, nitrocellulose, celluloses, acrylics, vine polyacetate and their copolymers; as lubricants in industrial formulations, industry, textiles; as oil-softening donor agents for the cosmetic industry; as wetting agents for gemi use, and as additives for biasing to reduce freezing point and improve combustion.
