The production process of electrochemical reactor using austenitic stainless steel electrodes type abnt 254 for the generation of hydrogen gas by using formic acid and glycerin. The present invention relates to the production process of an electrochemical reactor for generating hydrogen gas on the basis of the nylon 6u00ae and austenitic stainless steel electrode type abnt 254.This reactor according to figure 1 is composed by: (1), (2) lid (3) support of the electrode, (4) exit of gases, (5) bar of stainless steel, 254 (6) prisoner superior, (7) pressure gauge, (8) and (9) prisoner quick hitch the electrode.The process of hydrogen generation via the reactor is of simple operation, low cost, and enables a lower energy cost in the generation of hydrogen gas due to the use of steel 254, associated with the elevation of the catalytic efficiency of the glycerol present in the formic acid, when compared to The electrolysis of pure water by using metallic electrodes more noble, such as, for example, the platinum.
