"Polypeptides involved in the biosynthesis of nucleotide sequences encoding these polypeptides espiramicinas, and their applications. The present invention relates to the isolation and identification of new genes of the route of biosynthesis of espiramicinas and new polypeptides involved in the biosynthesis. The invention is also relates to a process for the production of such polypeptides.She is also on the use of these genes with the aim of increasing the rates of production and purity of spiramycin produced. The invention relates mainly to a microorganism which produces spiramycin I but which does not produce spiramycin II and III and the use of this microorganism.The invention also refers to the use of genes of the route of biosynthesis of espiramicinas for the construction of mutants which can lead to the synthesis of new antibiotics or forms derived from espiramicinas. The invention also relates to the molecules produced by expression of these genes and of the pharmacologically active compositions of a molecule produced through the expression of these genes.
