The present Invention relates to the Metallurgical Industry, specifically with the acquisition of ferrous Alloys and Alloys in particular obtaining a low Alloy Cast Iron with Aluminum. Is characterized by a low Alloy Gray Cast Iron Wear Resistance Adhesive with a metal MATRIX COMPOSITE ferrite (40-50%) and pearlite (60 - 50 per cent); Graphite Inclusions between Type A (12% - 16%). With a chemical composition (where Aluminum is between 0.5 - 4.0%) ma; Nganeso (0.2 - 0.9%) between Silicon (2.2 - 3.2%), carbon (3.2 - 3.7%; Sulfur impurities (0 - 0.3%) and Phosphorus (- 0.2%). Thus causes Graphite Inclusions with a size of 120 - 150 microns, which allows a macrodureza between 125 and 160 HB and tensile strength between 120 and 200 MPa. The Adhesive Wear Resistance reaches satisfactory values (382.10-6 mm3) and is located near the Bronze to Lead (305.10-6 mm3) and much lower than that of the Gray Cast Iron base (1108.10-6 mm3), test conditions, far superior to the exploitation. It is applicable in conditions where Adhesive Wear, as the bases for sliding Friction Bearings with Steel Shaft costly and subject Or high loads and low speeds.
