The proposed electric submersible pump with improved vibration characteristics compared to conventional electric submersible pumps. These improved performance pumps contain an electric motor mechanically connected to the discharge section. Improved vibration characteristics of this pump are provided by having at least one rotary bearing selected from the group including rotor bearings with chevron grooves, threshold rotor bearings, rotary bearings with a circumferential groove, and a combination of at least two of the above rotary bearings.
