The claimed composition of the pharmaceutical composition in the form of a solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration, containing as active ingredient 6-methyl-2-ethylpyridin-3-ol salt (2S) -2-acetaminopentanedioic acid, as well as a method of obtaining this composition. The claimed group of inventions allows for the first time to obtain a finished dosage form based on 6-methyl-2-ethylpyridin-3-ol salt of (2S) -2-acetaminopentanedioic acid.
