POLYCONJUGATES FOR DELIVERY OF RNA TRIGGERS INTERFERENCE IN TUMOR IN VIVO CELLS

The present invention provides compositions for delivering a trigger for RNA interference (RNAi) into integrin-positive tumor cells in vivo. The compositions contain amphipathic membrane-active polyamines aimed at RGD ligand, reversibly modified with enzyme-cleaved dipeptide amidobenzyl carbonate masking agents. The modification masks the membrane activity of the polymer, while reversibility provides the ability to respond to physiological conditions. Reversibly modified polyamines (dynamic polyconjugate or conjugate) are additionally covalently linked to an RNAi trigger.
