The invention is an amendment of the patent WO2013/104933 and relates to the prototypical selective ligand of the sigma-1 receptors: 3,3-diphenyl-n-(phenylethyl) propan-1-amine and the pharmaceutically accepted salts and excipients having, in one hand, prototypical anti-apoptotic properties and cytoprotective activity on the physiological cells, more specifically for neurons (M2[-] and σ1[+] against the neurodegenerative diseases and, on the other hand, having pro-apoptotic properties on the cancer cells, which properties combined with the above neuro-protective activity gives to the invention a prototypical anticancer profile consisting in its synergistical association with the clinically used anticancer drugs, and its action against the neuropathic pain induced by the later (mainly taxanes, platines and vinca alcaloids).
