In this case, the data processing device uses market basket analysis methods to deal with and analyze historical data, which occurs at defined intervals, as a market basket, and/or quality characteristics are formed from the relationship between the respective operator actions before and after the occurrence of the respective alarm message, from correlations between alarm messages and operator actions, by means of the data processing device, which has access to recorded historical data which relates to alarm messages and operator actions.
