[0086] The present invention relates to economically viable ambulatory cardiac monitoring and diagnosing system which does a real time intelligent full disclosure monitoring, analysis and diagnosis of wide range of cardiac conditions such as arrhythmia, myocardial ischemia and infarction. The system aims at decentralizing cardiac care by providing extended healthcare to the sub-urban and rural places of India thereby, enabling a general practitioner to diagnose potential cardiac patients and to monitor the ECG of his patient effectively and establish a real time connection with an expert at a remote location to effectively treat or refer right patients. The system raises alarms on episodes locally and remotely, when connected and is designed for long term monitoring to detect conditions that occur sporadically. The present invention is designed to be economically viable in usage. The device of the present invention is a fully functional standalone intelligent unit and can be used as a bed side monitor as well. The system as a whole comprises of a device, server and remote terminal that can connect to the device and display live ECG of a patient at remote location.
