A PROCES FOR HIGH AND QUICK RECOVERY OF NITROGEN FROM VEGETABLE PROTEIN SOURCES FOR PRODUCING SOLUBLE ORGANIC NITROGENOUS FERTILIZER WITH MACRO AND MICRO ELEMENTS AND PRODUCT THEREOF
The present invention describes a process for the production of a high quality, water soluble, organic fertilizer rich in nitrogen content from defatted soya flour using proteolytic bacterial broth. The said process comprises of preparing aqueous slurry of defatted soy flour having 10�1% w/v, hydrolyzing the aqueous slurry using (1-4)v/v % bacterial broth containing Bacillus licheniforrnis, MTCC Accession Number 5614 at pH 9-10 and temperature 50 � 10 �C for period of nearly 30 minutes, to get recovery of total nitrogen content 85�5% with high degree of hydrolysis, inactivating the proteolytic activity by heating the mixture at 110 �10 degree C for about 5 minutes, separating the nitrogen containing filtrate in a known manner; and drying the nitrogen containing filtrate at specified temperature, thus to obtain solid form of nitrogen content 13�2 % of the total product, macro nutrients containing 2 to 5 weight% and micro nutrients containing 150 to 200 ppm.
