Conventional measuring tape measures length in feet and inches where one foot = 12 inches calibrated on the tape. Therefore long calculations are required to find out area and volume in square foot and cubic foot respectively. To overcome limitations of conventional measuring tape, " A digital measuring tape to measure area as well as volume in British system" is proposed in which 1 foot = 10 inches is calibrated on the tape so that area and volume can be get calculated speedily. A tiny calculator is in built in case of measuring to find out results very speedily.
