The present invention provides a system and method for simulating a bird collision on an aircraft in a Finite Element Analysis. The method comprises providing a geometric model of the aircraft, defining one location of the bird collision on the aircraft, selecting a bird type, a bird shape, a bird size, bird weight and an orientation for the bird collision, providing at least one geometric model of the bird as per the selected bird type, bird shape, bird size, bird weight and orientation for the bird collision, meshing the geometric models of the aircraft and the bird to form a bird collision finite element model, performing the finite element analysis of the bird collision finite element model and displaying a result of the FEA in a report as per required format. The system includes a GUI, a bird modeling module, a flight environment modeling module and a dynamic analysis module.
