A SYSTEM AND METHOD TO EVALUATE AND RANK CLOUD VENDOR SERVICES BASED ON HIERARCHICALLY STRUCTURED AND NORMALIZED MEASUREMENTS

The embodiments herein provide a system and method of enabling a user to choose the most suitable cloud service provider for a cloud usage scenario. The information regarding multiple cloud service providers are identified and stored in a storage database. Further, a hierarchical structure from cloud usage scenario to associated technical and business requirements, cloud vendor attributes of the technical and business requirement and attribute measures associated to the cloud vendor attributes are created. Further, a raw score is assigned to each attribute measure against a cloud service provider. The raw scores are normalized for each technical and business requirement. Further, the normalized scores for each technical and business requirements of cloud usage scenario are aggregated to arrive at a ranked list. The reports and charts of the ranked list are generated in order to enable the user to view and select the most suitable cloud service provider.
