ALTITUDE MEASUREMENT USING DSP TECHNIQUES FOR RADIOALTIMETER

The Radio altimeter developed by HAL measures the altitude of the aircraft from the terrain being over flown using DSP technique against the conventional analog processing techniques. The DSP based Radio altimeter measures the height of the aircraft in t he range of 0 - 20,000 ft over pitch and Roll limits of ± 30°. The system is developed with miniature components to meet airworthy standards
