Abstract The present invention relates to a device for converting an existing non-dimmable LED driver to a dimmable constant current LED driver. In one embodiment the devices includes a dimmer circuit and a constant current regulation circuit. The dimmer circuit and the current regulation circuit are coupled mutually via cable for converting a non-dimmable LED driver to a dimmable constant current LED driver, the dimmer circuit and constant current regulation circuit are configured for converting the constant current to PWM waveform, adjusting the duty cycle of PWM based on user setting and input the PWM signal to a CCR (Constant Current Regulator) having an inverse temperature character in series with the LEDs to provide constant current.
