AN IMPROVED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING SECURITY USING HYBRID KEY ENCRYPTION ALGORITHM

The present invention relates to an improved cryptographic system and method which provides adequate security for data communication over unreliable and vulnerable wireless network. The new hybrid key encryption algorithm is generated by combining ECC Algorithm as an asymmetric key algorithm and TrueCrypt algorithm as a cascaded symmetric algorithm. In this hybrid key encryption algorithm, the combine ECC and TrueCrypt algorithm is used to enhance the security of data communication over unreliable wireless network. TrueCrypt algorithm provides high level security and makes remarkable contributions in the area of data security.
